Our Process
Pre-client Process
Before becoming a client, we go through discover, design, and making sure we’re a good fit!
1
Right Fit Meeting
In this meeting, our first step is to get to know you better. We want to know who you are, and what truly matters to you. What are your goals and aspirations? We want to understand your vision.
Next, we’ll provide a brief overview of our process, which consists of four key phases: This Meeting (Right Fit Meeting), Discovery, Design, and Implementation (if you choose to become a client). We’ll also walk you through the array of services we offer and transparently break down our compensation structure.
Based on our discussion, we’ll determine the next steps. If there is synergy, we’ll schedule our upcoming Discover Meeting, where we’ll delve deeper into your financial journey. Your aspirations, our experience – together, we’ll navigate the path to your financial success.
2
Discovery Meeting
In the Discovery meeting, the main purpose is to kickstart the financial and life discovery process. Based upon the information we receive; we will delve into the data to discuss our assumptions; pinpoint pain points; identify opportunities; and begin to develop initial planning materials. From here, we will highlight our thoughts on the next steps.
Depending on the outcomes and data, an additional Discovery Meeting may be necessary.
3
Design Meeting
Now that we’ve done some initial data gathering, we can start to “Design” a plan for you. In this stage of the process, there are two phases. Behind the scenes or “Backstage Design”, we begin to build out our plan for you. Later, we will have a “Front Stage Design” meeting with you where we will begin to flesh out specific strategies for your plan with your participation. Our goal here is to have clarity and build your confidence.
In the Design Meeting, we will present elements of your plan and confirm your action items and confirm the order of priorities. We want to get started with what is most important to you to address first. Upon agreement of working with us, we can begin the next stages, the onboarding phase!
Client Onboarding
We’re excited to work with you! Here is what you can expect in the onboarding process.
1
Implementation Meetings
Once your priorities and our strategies are well aligned, we proceed from the Design to the Implementation phase and put your plan into action. Depending on what you have prioritized, it will determine where we get started. Ideally, we start with financial planning first, i.e. retirement and tax strategies. From there, elements of your financial plan, such as time horizons and other parameters, direct the investment policy to support the plan. Depending on complexity, this phase may require more than one meeting.
Investing involves risk and you may incur a profit or loss regardless of strategy selected. Diversification and asset allocation does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss. Holding investments for the long term does not ensure a profitable outcome. Future investment performance cannot be guaranteed and investment yields will fluctuate with market conditions.
